About Me

Thais is a Sociology doctoral student at the University of California, San Francisco, and a social justice advocate. She is also the Associate Director of Development and Operations at a workers' rights nonprofit. 
Thais earned her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley, and her Master's degree also in Sociology from the California State University, Sacramento. She is a first generation college-student, an avid reader, and pretty good at parallel parking.
Her volunteering activities include navigation at a homeless support center, general support at a community garden, and working with children.
​She is the proud mom of an adorable baby boy.
